SAT/ACT Optional Colleges

Many students increase their scores when they take the college entrance exams multiple times, and some colleges will take the highest section of each administration to create a new high score "super-scoring.". However, some students do not find that the exams are an accurate reflection of their abilities. Click here to view a list of colleges that are "test optional" -- they do not require students to submit their scores for the SAT/ACT unless students think it will aid in the admissions process.
